About Us
Indian Society for Community Education (ISCE) is a non-government organization established in 1982 as a public charitable trust in Ahmedabad. Late Prof. Ramlal Parikh, a well known Gandhian and educationist, was the Founder of ISCE. Under his able leadership ISCE spread its activities and contributed significantly in the areas of population education, continuing education and Similar education Interventions that form Community education.

ISCE in collaboration with ISPE & Kamal Nayan Bajaj Peace Research Institute of Gujarat Vidhyapith organizes public lectures by eminent personalities on contemporary issues since 2000. Over 23 lectures have been conducted.
CONFERENCES
ISCE has successfully organized 6 international and 12 national conferences focusing on different areas of community education, engaging academic institutions, NGOs, and social workers.

ISCE publishes a quarterly magazine 'YATRA PATH' Articles on research papers, highlights of ISCE activities etc. are getting published in it. Edited by our trustee Dr. Manda Parikh, YATRA PATH intends to bring before its readers all important issues of community education.
